The photo was taken of Gallerie 110 on Gainesville downtown square. I am one of ten artists with a studio at 110 Washington Street.

The Life I want to visualize in my art includes more than the eye observes. I want to include feeling, ideas, plus the inner excitement of color, line, and textures. I find working with different media stimulates the creative urge within me. I love to experiment.

Last fall the Gainesville downtown library had my solo show exhibited on the second floor of the library. In March 2010 Inmann Perk Coffee Bistro featured work during March. In April a piece exhibited in Cumming, GA at 1st United Methodist Church, and my art is also exhibited at Lanier Village Estates. It remains fun preparing and creating art.

I graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Art Education, and I taught children for around eight years at both the Fine Arts Museum and the Contemporary Arts Museum in Houston, Texas. While that was a long time ago, today I enjoy friendship with other artist in the Gainesville area.
